Speed and Treadmill Training in Steal and Hatch Anime Eggs!

Speed is the stat that gates everything: whether the boss catches you, which zones you can farm, and when you can rebirth. You build it on a treadmill you buy for your plot. This page collects every speed-related number we could verify — each one observed in September 2026 gameplay, attributed and dated, because the game updates constantly.

Core loop

How treadmill training works

  1. Buy the treadmill for your plot (you re-buy it after every rebirth — plan cash for that).
  2. Run on it and tap: the prompt says TAP! — each step grants +5 Speed once your income clears the gate (read as “≥ $2/s”).
  3. Watch your stat climb: speed popups (+100, +3.0K) and multiplier readouts (“5.7K ×2”, “8.6K ×2”) appear as you train.
  4. Buy the next upgrade when cash allows (Level 2 → Level 3 cost $250K in one session).

All values are September 2026 observations from identity-confirmed gameplay — the game was updated the day before we checked. Treat them as ballparks, not fixed rules.
Robux

Multipliers — the one purchase that survives rebirth

Two Robux multipliers were shown in a creator session: 2× Speed for 4 Robux and 8× Speed for 19 Robux. The key fact, narrated live: after rebirth — which resets your purchased treadmills — the 8× multiplier persisted (“it saves my eight times that I spent Robux for”). If you spend anything, that’s the durable spend.

Gates

Zone speed requirements

Zones display a recommended speed before you commit to a steal. We verified an early rare-egg zone recommending ~900 and a later “hero arena” area at about 9,000 Speed. Below the recommendation the boss will likely catch you; above it, runs become routine.

The full zone-by-zone speed table isn’t published anywhere (the game has nine worlds; world names themselves are unpublished). Read each zone’s recommendation live in-game.
